Vehicle: Sean W. Simmons, 22, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Thursday, June 23, 2016, on charges of suspended registration, aggravated unlicensed operator, operating without insurance and having an uninspected motor vehicle. Court date is set for July 11.
Drugs: Elliott M. Davenport, 18, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Thursday, June 23, 2016, on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana. Court date is set for July 11.
Vehicle: Karee Y. Bennett, 42, of Schenectady, was arrested Sunday, June 26, 2016, on charges of unlicensed operator, speeding in a zone and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree. Court date is set for July 11.

DWI: Adam S. Arnold, 36, of Ballston Spa, was charged with driving while intoxicated Friday, June 24, 2016, after investigators responded to a report of an ATV crash on Plank Road. Arnold was driving a 2004 Arctic Cat four-wheeler and went off the road at approximately 6 p.m. after failing to make a turn two miles from North Creek Road, becoming airborne and striking a tree, according to investigators. He was found roughly 30 feet off the roadway, down a steep embankment. Arnold was transported by ambulance to Porters Corners Town Park and subsequently flown to Albany Medical Center, where he was listed in serious but stable condition. The incident remains under investigation and additional charges are pending, according to the sheriff’s office.
Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office
Drugs: Joshua W. Llanos, 29, of Troy, pleaded guilty Tuesday, June 28, 2016, to a charge of attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. Llanos was arrested earlier this year for actions in Wilton and Malta. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 23.
New York State PoliceShoplifting: Karen A. Austin, 50, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Monday, June 27, 2016, in Wilton following an investigation at the Wal-Mart on Old Gick Road. At approximately 4 p.m., Wal-Mart loss prevention staff stopped Austin, who police said had passed all points of sale without purchasing $71.52 in clothing items. She was taken into custody, processed, and released on an appearance ticket. She is due back in Wilton Town Court on July 5. DWI: Michael A. Arduino, 26, of Malta, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated Sunday, June 26, 2016, in Wilton after being pulled over just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Marion and Excelsior avenues for failing to signal for a turn. Troopers say he had the odor of alcohol on his breath and that he admitted to drinking. He was taken into custody and processed. Police say a breath test showed he had a blood alcohol content of .16 percent. Arduino was released to a sober third party and is due in Saratoga Springs City Court on July 11.
