Aggravated Drunk Driving-Vanessa Renee O’Brien, 30, of Malta, was arrested just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3 on Sierra Trace in Ballston Lake. She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated — a charge applying to those found driving with a BAC of .18 or higher — Driving While Intoxicated, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree.
Criminal Contempt– Gregory Allen Cooper, 40, of Milton, was arrested on May 5, 2015 on Country Farm Road in Milton for three counts of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, all misdemeanors.
Harassment- Richard D. Blair, 65, of Ballston Lake, was arrested on May 5, 2015 on Hickory Grove Lane in Ballston Lake for one count of Harassment in the Second Degree, a violation.
Criminal Mischief- Nicholas R. Ramsey, 32, of Ballston Spa, turned himself in at the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office in Milton on March based on a signed complaint. The complaint alleges Ramsey was involved in a physical altercation on State Rt. 9N in Greenfield at 9:30 a.m. the day before and pushed an individual to the gound, causing damaged to the individual’s cell phone. Ramsey was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and Harassment in the Second Degree, a violation. Ramsey was released on an appearence ticket for Greenfield Court on May 18, 2015 at 7 p.m.
Assault– John B. Rivenburgh, 42 was arrested on May 6, 2015 on Country Farm Road in Milton and charged with Assault in the Third Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Driving While Impaired By Drugs– Charles A. Hilsman, 55, of Malta, was arrested by State Troopers following a report of an erratic driver on I-87 in Colonie. Troopers allege Hilsman was observed swerving from lane to lane. Hilsman was subsequently arrested for Driving While Impaired by Drugs, which can carry a sentence of up to one year in jail, as well as Aggravated Unlicensed Operation for having multiple suspensions on his driving record. Hilsman was later turned over to the Saratoga Springs Police Department due to an outstanding bench warrant. Hilsman is to return to the Town of Colonie court on May 6 to answer to the charges.

Louis Nottingham, 38, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 30 at 5:15 p.m. in Malta with second-degree assault, a Class-D felony, first-degree burglary, a Class-B felony, fourth-degree criminal mischief, a Class-A misdemeanor, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a Class-A misdemeanor, for an incident that occurred June 18 at 11:56 a.m. Nottingham was held on cash bail.
