BALLSTON SPA — The 2017-18 budget for the Village has an even percentage of revenue and expenditures and a modest decrease in property taxes proposed.
Governor Cuomo has proposed in the budget to hike utility rates by 2.5% . This will cost New Yorkers $8 billion dollars. Saratoga County will see a tax increase of $101,071 while, the town of Ballston specifically will be taxed $2,022. [Read more…]

Updated 1/22/2016, 1:59 p.m. – BSCSD will not tear down the old bus garage to build restrooms. The proposal is to renovate part of the old building to include public restrooms. In addition, just the Pine Street part of the building was gutted and renovated at Malta Ave. Elementary, not the entire school building.
