MALTA – Story updated June 2 at 5:15 p.m. The autopsy of Kathleen Wilkinson has been completed. Medical Examiner, Michael Sikirica MD, determined cause of death was asphyxiation by strangulation. Authorities said the investigation is continuing.
A man killed his wife during a physical, domestic dispute at their Malta home over the weekend and continued living in the house on Meadow Rue Place, with her body still on their bedroom floor, authorities said.
