Don’t miss the Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Information Night on November 6 from 6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. at the Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART, 345 Hermes Road, Malta.
Open to administrators, educators, and parents/students (current 8th & 10 graders). Incoming juniors (Fall 2015) will learn about the two-year program where students can pursue college credit and gain real-world experience. Incoming freshmen (Fall 2015) will learn about the Early College High School model that is part of the NYS P-TECH Network which offers an opportunity to pursue an associate’s degree.

Ballston Spa’s Clean Tech Early College High School Information Night
BALLSTON SPA – The Ballston Spa Central School District and Hudson Valley Community College are holding an information night to acquaint parents, students, teachers and school district leaders with an innovative program that provides advanced technology education for area high school students. Now in its third year, the Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School is continuing to seek new 11th grade students from across the Capital Region to enroll for the fall.
The program allows students to earn up to 25 college credits during their junior and senior years while completing their high school diplomas. The ECHS has grown regionally from originally serving 25 students and two school districts in 2011 to now serving 110 students from across 20 school districts and seven counties.
The public is invited to attend this free and informative event, which takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on March 18th at the Training and Education Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies (TEC-SMART) at 345 Hermes Road in Malta. The site is located in NYSERDA’s Saratoga Technology + Energy Park® (STEP®).
