BSCSD Eligibility Guide for Reduced/Free Lunch Program

BALLSTON SPA – A healthy meal is vital for growing children and the Ballston Spa Central School District offers healthy breakfast and lunch options for students every school day.

Elementary students may buy lunch for $2 and/or breakfast for $1 while middle school and high school students can buy lunch for $2.30 and/or breakfast for $1. However, some students may qualify for free or reduced price meals, bringing the cost of breakfast and lunch down to only $0.25.

All children in households receiving benefits from SNAP, the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations or TANF, can get free meals regardless of income. Children can also get free or reduced price meals if your household income is within the free/reduced price limits on the Federal Eligibility Income Chart, available HERE.

To apply for the free/reduce price meal program at BSCSD, fill out an application and mail it to: Ballston Spa Central School District, Susan Andi, Reviewing Official, 70 Malta Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. For questions, call Andi at 884-7195 ext 1320.
