BSpa Student Honored By Assemblyman Tedisco

CLIFTON PARK — Assemblyman Jim Tedisco presented a New York State Assembly citation Monday to Haley Curtiss, a Ballston Spa High School student and the recipient of the Presidential Volunteerism Award. Curtiss is competing in the Miss New York Outstanding Teen ceremony on Sat, April 11, at 6 p.m. at Saratoga Springs High School.

Curtiss is helping to raise money and awareness for Crohn’s Disease and Colitis.  She was crowned Miss Empire Rose Outstanding Teen, and New York State USA National Miss Overall Role Model.  Curtiss received the Presidential Volunteerism Award for her tireless advocacy on behalf of teens who have Crohn’s Disease.
