SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Adirondack Trust Co. announced the celebration of the placement of its main office headquarters’ cornerstone’s 100th anniversary. To commemorate ATC’s anniversary, the organization opened a 100-year-old time capsule that was placed in the cornerstone of the main office headquarters by Sen. Edgar T. Brackett, the bank’s founder, in June 1916. The centennial celebration of the Saratoga Springs Headquarters building was Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at ATC’s main office at 473 Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
The event featured the opening of the 1916 time capsule, which was also replaced with a new time capsule by Charles V. Wait, chairman and CEO, to be opened in June 2116.
Charles V. Wait Jr., executive vice president, noted in a press release prior to the event, “We are very excited to be able to share this day with our fellow community members who have supported ATC for over 100 years. Saratoga Springs has a rich history and we are proud to be a part of it as a community partner.”
