John Robert “Bob” Colpoys

BALLSTON LAKE – John Robert “Bob” Colpoys, 95, of Clifton Park, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2017.

Colpoys is survived by his children, Bonnie L. (Dave) Davis, Daniel R. Colpoys, David J. (Melanie) Colpoys and Douglas J. (Tammy) Colpoys; and grandchildren, Suzanne Davis, Daniel Davis, Robert Colpoys, Ian Colpoys, Alexis Colpoys and Allison Alexander; sister-in-law, Joyce Colpoys; cousins, Joseph and Gerald Colpoys; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 23, at Townley and Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake. Interment with full military honors followed in the Gerald B.H Solomon National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville.

Paul J. Komar

BALLSTON SPA – On February 18, 2017 Paul J. Komar, 85, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017.

Komar is survived by his wife, Lorraine Ann; daughter, Maria Joanne Komar Kalinkewicz (John), of Malta; sons, Paul James Komar, Jr., of Ballston Spa, and Michael William Komar, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; granddaughter, Hannah Lorraine Kalinkewicz; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Michelle Miller of Seymour, Indiana.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 22 at St. Mary’s Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Burial with military honors followed at St. Peter’s Cemetery, West Avenue, Saratoga Springs. In lieu of flowers,

George R. Loucks

BALLSTON SPA – George R. Loucks, 69, died Thursday, Feb.16, 2017.

Loucks is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Brian Loucks (Lindsay), of Napa, California, and Kevin Loucks (Kristin), of Andover, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Paige, Elizabeth “Ellie,” Aidan George, Cade, Hannah, Ethan and Sadie; brothers, Gerry Loucks (Marge), and Jeff Loucks (Cindy), all of East Jewett; mother-in-law, Violet Mead, of Hunter; sister-in-law, Bonnie Schertl, of Hunter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Loucks’ request, there will be no services.

Anne Frances Dunbar

BALLSTON SPA – Anne Frances Dunbar, 86, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2017.

Dunbar is survived by her children Joseph (Jackie) of Florence, Massachusetts, Francis (Sherri), of Black River, John (Lisa), of Ballston Spa, Catherine Clements (Timothy), of Malta, Patricia Dunbar Richmond, of Ballston Spa and Paul of Ballston Spa; grandchildren, Andrea Clements (fiancé Jon), Alex Clements, Trenton Dunbar (Emily), Hudson Dunbar, Caroline Dunbar and Rachel Richmond; and many nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 24, at St. Mary’s Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Saratoga Springs. There will be no calling hours.
