Town of Milton Republican Chair Anna Stanko says the committee has endorsed Milton resident Timothy Brown for the Town Justice seat vacated by the resignation of Hon. John Mancini. Brown is a lifelong resident of the community and is married with two children. He has been with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office for 25 years, serving as an investigator for the past 12 years.
Stanko said in a statement, “a 30-year member of Union Fire Company, Brown’s service in the Sheriff’s Office reflects a commitment to the safety and welfare of town residents”.
As a layman, Brown will attend training in April and can begin to serve the town after his April 19 retirement from the Sheriff’s Office.
Brown says he “is looking forward serving the community” as Town Justice.
The committee also endorsed Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo, County Clerk Craig Hayner and Coroner Susan Hayes-Masa for re-election.
