BALLSTON – A Ballston Spa man is accused of stabbing his brother during a domestic incident early this morning.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic incident at the Westwood Motel on Route 50, Ballston, at 3:16 a.m., Thursday, March 30. Following an investigation, Rogerio F. Torres, 35, of Ballston Spa, was arrested and charged with assault, second degree; assault, third degree; menacing, second degree; and criminal possession of a weapon, fourth degree.
Torres stabbed his brother in the hand and kneed him in his back during the incident, according to police. He’s accused of possessing a deadly weapon with the intent to use it unlawfully against another; and placing another person in reasonable fear of death, serious physical injury, or physical injury by displaying a knife.
He was arraigned in the Milton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail.
