BALLSTON SPA – Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I,Ref-Ballston) held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, May 5 to commemorate the opening of her new district office at 199 Milton Ave.
On hand for the day’s festivities were state Sens. Jim Tedisco and Kathy Marchione, as well as a representative from the office of Sen. Elise Stefanik and several county and town officials. There were brief spoken remarks and light refreshments as well as the opportunity to tour the assemblywoman’s new office, where she will entertain inquiries, visits and questions from the residents of her district.
“I am so grateful for all those who came out to celebrate the opening of my new district office at our ribbon cutting event on Friday,” Walsh said. “I feel strongly that, as elected officials, it is our responsibility to make ourselves available to our constituents, and I look forward to establishing this new office as a place where our residents are always welcome to voice their opinions and concerns.”
Walsh represents the 112th Assembly District, which consists of parts of Saratoga and Schenectady counties.
