Aggravated: Paul F. Snyder, 68, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Tuesday, July 18 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office
Conspiracy: Linda M. Sims, 24, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Thursday, July 13 to one year in jail.
Sims pleaded guilty earlier this year to conspiracy, fourth degree, for a crime she committed in Milton in March.
Burglary: Jonathan J. Cyphers, 36, of Ballston Spa, pleaded guilty Wednesday, July 19 to burglary, second degree, for an incident that occurred in Greenfield in January.
DWI: Ian R. Farley, 34, of Malta, was sentenced Wednesday, July 19 to five years of probation for his previous conviction on the charge of driving while intoxicated.
Farley was arrested for the crime in Clifton Park in April.
Controlled substance: Joel A. Rojas, 36, of Milton, was sentenced Wednesday, July 19 to four and a half years in state prison.
Rojas previously pleaded guilty to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, third degree, for an incident hat occurred in Milton in 2016.
Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office
Forged checks: Stephen M. Allen Jr., 30, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Sunday, July 16 and charged with five counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, second degree.
Allen was arrested at his residence following a brief foot chase. He is alleged to have been in possession of several forged checks in Milton in May. He is also believed to have been involved with similar crimes at other locations during the same time frame, according to investigators.
