Ballston Spa Police Department
Aggravated: Robert M. Levesque, 54, of Schenectady, was arrested Thursday, July 20 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
DWI: Joni M. Kopplin, 33, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Thursday, July 20 and charged with driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher, driving while intoxicated, using a cell phone while driving, refusing to consent to an alcohol test and an open container violation.
Assault:Eric Cipolla, 25, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Tuesday, July 25 on a warrant in Malta and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail on the charge of gang assault, second degree.

DWI: James E. Brown Jr., of Latham, was arrested Tuesday, July 25 and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Troopers responded to the Taco Bell in Malta when a passerby called 911 to report a driver asleep at the wheel in the drive thru lane. Brown later tested to have a 0.16 percent blood alcohol concentration, troopers said.
Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office
Attempted burglary: Arthur E. Brust Jr., 18, of Greenfield, was sentenced to six months in jail and five years of probation.
Brust pleaded guilty earlier this year to attempted burglary, second degree, for an incident that occurred in Milton in March.
Leaving the scene: Craig D Dufore, 23, was sentenced Friday, July 21 to between four months and four years in state prison.
Dufure pleaded guilty earlier this year to leaving the scene of an incident without reporting it that resulted in death. He admitted to driving a vehicle on Saratoga Avenue in Milton in October 2016 before leaving the scene of a crash with a pedestrian, Jacob C. Pering, who ultimately died as a result of injuries from the crash.
Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office
Sexual abuse: Oscar Catalan, 30, of Milton, was arrested Thursday, July 20 and charged with two counts of sexual abuse, first degree; two counts of sexual abuse, third degree; and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Catalan allegedly subjected four females to unwanted physical or sexual contact in Milton between January and July. The victims were all known to the defendant.
Drunk boating: Andrew C. Dufort, 21, of Saratoga Springs, was arrested Saturday, July 22 and charged with operating a vessel while intoxicated, operating a vessel with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater, reckless operation and failure to carry a safety certificate.
Dufort was arrested after being stopped for reckless operation on Saratoga Lake in Malta.
Assault: Kimberly A. Duarte-Martinez, 44, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Monday, July 24 and charged with assault, second degree, aggravated criminal contempt and resisting arrest.
Duarte-Martinez allegedly injured another person with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument. The victim had a protection order against Duarte-Martinez, police said.
