Harold N. Dowen
Harold N. Dowen, 82, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20.
Harold is survived by his children Judy Dowen (Jim) of Ballston Spa, Beverly Ward of Saratoga Springs, Tracey Vrooman (Steve) of Malta, Harold Dowen (Rose) of Stillwater, Dennis Dowen (Karen) of Greenfield, Duane Dowen (Lisa) of Northumberland; brothers Robert and Donald (Sherry); sister Penelope; dear friend Roger Rooke (Tanya); six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Burial will follow a service at noon in the Ballston Spa Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of Harold may be made to Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144.
Millicent J. Ferrara
Millicent J. Ferrara, 79, passed away on Friday, Jan. 19.
Milli is survived by her husband of 60 years Paul, and their son Paul G. Ferrara (Ann) of Syracuse, grandchildren Taylor, Kaitlin, Daniel and Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
A service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 23 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Burial will be in Powell Wiswall Cemetery in the Spring.
Memorial contributions in memory of Milli may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arthur E. Coleman
BALLSTON LAKE – Arthur E. Coleman, 79, died Friday, Jan. 19.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara (Van Sickle) Coleman; three children Elizabeth (Douglas Fish) of Clifton Park, NY; Robert and Douglas of Ballston Lake, NY; brother, Martin Coleman, Jr. of Mt. Tabor, VT; granddaughter, Lillian and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life is being planned. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be sent to The Landis Arboretum, or Trout Unlimited Burnt Hills, NY.
