School Superintendent Search Process Continues in Ballston Spa

BALLSTON SPA – The Ballston Spa Central School District (BSCSD) is ready to take the next step in filling its Superintendent vacancy. The posting for the job opening closed in January and the Board of Education has reviewed all applications. They are now preparing to hold initial interviews with viable candidates later this month.

The timeline is to narrow down the candidacy field to several finalists by early March.

An initial round of semi-finalists will be invited to interview with two advisory groups made up of representatives from BSCSD staff members, students, parents and community groups in early March. The advisory groups will share their feedback with the Board of Education and the Board will then select finalists.
