Richard M. Lisieski

Richard M. Lisieski, age 80, died on Thursday, Feb.15.

Survivors include his wife Eileen Lisieski, his children Kimberly (Jason) Weaver, Richard (Georgie) Lisieski, Todd Lisieski and Shawn (Sharman) Lisieski all of Ballston Spa, his 4 grandchildren: Shelby, Tyler, Rylee and Molly.

Celebration of Richard’s life will be on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Ballston Spa Elks Lodge #2619, 10 Hamilton St., Ballston Spa, NY with refreshments to follow the celebration.

June Lang Nichols

June Lang Nichols, 80, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

June is survived by her husband of 52 years Clifford Bruce Nichols; children Carol McMahon (Jerry Mabb) of South Glens Falls, Theresa LaTulip (Greg) of Ballston Spa, Phyllis LaTulip (Lee) of Ballston Spa, Mary Titus (Dave) of Ballston Spa and Clifford Nichols, Jr.(Annette) of Galway; brother Donald Lang (Dee-Dee) of Rensselaer, sister Carol Glaz (Tom) of Troy; daughter in law Tamy Nichols of Saratoga Springs; 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. June is also survived by her lifelong childhood friends Mary Ryan and Janice Cirilli, both of Rensselaer.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High St. Ballston Spa. A service will follow at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gateway House of Peace, 479 Rowland Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.

Gloria D. Laporta

Gloria D. Laporta, 80, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11.

Gloria is survived by her husband Carmen and their children Lorrie Hanington (Jeff), David Laporta (Christina) and Sue Malatesta (Jeff); grandchildren Valorie Cook (Jim), Lydia Hanington, Maria Laporta, Carmella Laporta, Anthony Laporta, Giovanni Malatesta, Angelina Malatesta; sisters Shirley Bialobreski (John) and Linda Scibilia-Carver (Mark); and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at the Presbyterian-New England Congregational Church, 24 Circular St., Saratoga Springs, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Gloria may be made to EOC Soup Kitchen.


James Savage, Sr., 50, passed away on Saturday, Feb.10.

James is survived by his  wife Karen; his son James Savage, Jr (Nicole) of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Lilly, Makayla, Blessing, Jeremiah, and Camilla; stepchildren Cortney Anzur (Doug), Leigha Wilson (Hope), Brandon Zeiber (Sophia); stepgrandchildren Jayden, Ethan, Emma and Lily; siblings Faith Savage of Ellenville, Joann Savage of Ballston Spa, Ben Savage (Kathy) of Lake Luzerne, Heather Primeau of Ballston Spa, and Duane Savage of Portage, WI, nieces and nephews Melissa Gibson (James), Wayne Conklin, Henry Kiernan, Kelly Kiernan, Darwin Whipple III, Carson Lyons, Heather Savage, Sarah Conklin, Grace Porter, Rachel Porter, Katrina Schutte (Tim), Joshua Mackey, Sirena Primeau and Kaylee Mackey.

A memorial service will be held 12 noon on Friday, Feb.16 at Free Spirit Fellowship Church, 1425 West High St., Ballston Spa.
