Yard waste, brush and debris pickup by neighborhood municipality in the Ballston Journal coverage area is listed in a round-up below.
Residents are advised to keep their debris piles curbside, but not to obstruct roadways, and to keep branches below four feet in length. Avoid placing leaves within debris piles. Failure to do so may result in your pile not being removed.
- The Town of Milton will not be providing a debris collection service this year and residents are advised to contact their current trash removal service for more information.
- The Village of Ballston Spa is currently picking up curbside debris and will continue to until May 11.
- The Town of Malta’s scheduled debris pickup period will take place the week of May 14.
- The Town of Ballston does not have a debris pickup program scheduled, but residents of the town can obtain a key from the Highway Clerk’s office that provide them will access to a local brush-dump site.
