SARATOGA COUNTY — Are you over age 55 and looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity? The county RSVP program can help!
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Saratoga County’s Office for the Aging helps recruit and place volunteers throughout Saratoga County.
The program is currently looking for volunteers to assist with reading/comprehension skills with elementary students in Saratoga and Clifton Park.
They are also in need of volunteer drivers to transport (in a provided mini-van) patients to/from medical appointments and are seeking people to serve as AARP tax aides. Free training is provided.
All the above opportunities are flexible.
Give RSVP a call for more information at 518-884-4110.
RSVP is funded in part by The Corporation for National and Community Service. Saratoga County RSVP is sponsored by the Saratoga County Office for the Aging. The Saratoga County OFA is funded under Title III of the Older Americans Act, as amended, the New York State Office for the Aging and The County of Saratoga.
