The Ballston Journal is available to help promote your event, cause or fundraiser via our matching grant program or through promotional trade services. We make it easy for area non-profits to get the word out to the community in ways that are manageable and affordable.
Matching grants are available in a 3-to-1 ratio meaning for every $1 spent in advertising, your group gets $3 worth of media and advertising services. Spend $100, get $300 worth of advertising – spend $250, get $750, and so on.
Promotional trade services are considered for events that may offer a mutual benefit to the organization and to the Ballston Journal equally. We will review your application, value an advertising program and ask for equal promotional opportunities from your group that could range from social media messaging, website links, vendor booths, email marketing….things of reasonable and fair value to forge a great partnership for all.
Donations of raffle baskets and subscriptions are readily available for your in-community activity.
Fundraising support is available via raffle basket donations or subscription sales in which we donate up to 70% of proceeds back to your group. Promotional trade services as described above may be applicable in this category, too.
