Town of Ballston Community Libary
2 Lawmar Ln, Burnt Hills,
(518) 399-8174

Step inside the Town of Ballston Community Library’s impressive building and head upstairs to check out the library’s large children’s section. It is warm and inviting and filled with books, DVDs, puzzles, and a play area for children. No kids? No problem. Head directly to the adult area on the main floor which is filled with books, DVDs, and magazines.

The library offers an impressive number of free programs and computer classes. Check the calendar to see what’s available. There are also numerous programs designed for children. In fact, there are so many that they are listed on a separate calendar.

If you’re looking to browse the Internet, computers are available for public use. One-on-one help is available upon request.

Since three book clubs are better than one, patrons can choose from three different book clubs (or attend them all).

Malta Branch: 1 Bayberry Drive, Malta, (518) 682-2495

The Round Lake Library is arguably the area’s most interesting library. It was opened in 1897 in Clark House, a Victorian home that was bequeathed to the library. This small library offers a surprising selection of circulation materials and an impressive number of programs and activities. In 2009, the Malta Branch was opened inside the David R. Meager Community Center. Both libraries offer many clubs and groups for adults and youth (including the popular LEGO Club). Stay updated with what’s going on at both branches by checking the calendar. Computers with Internet access are also available to the public at both libraries.
