  • Ballston Area Community Center – www.ballstonareacc.org  The Ballston Area Community Center’s mission is “to provide essential community services, programs, support and projects that enhance the social, emotional and physical development of youth and families of the Ballston Area.” Founded in 1981, the Ballston Area Community Center (BACC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving youth, ages 5 to 19, and their families, who live in the Ballston Spa School District. Programs include before and after-school child care, teen programming, summer camp, basketball leagues, and community group hosting. The BACC classrooms, kitchen, full gym and outdoor playground are used and enjoyed by a great variety of groups and organizations.   • Ballston Spa Central School District – www.bscsd.org  The Ballston Spa Central School District is committed to meeting the educational needs of each student in becoming a responsible adult. In partnership with the family and community, we strive to prepare each student intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially, while encouraging individual talents and abilities.
  • Ballston Spa Community Band  The Ballston Spa Community Band was created for the continuing music education of its members and audiences. Through practicing and performing, we will show that music is a life long activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Our mission is to perform a wide variety of instrumental music for the enjoyment and education of audiences throught Saratoga County, NY. The Ballston Spa Community Band will provide these concerts free of charge at locations that are accessible to the public.
  • Ballston Spa Educational Foundation – www.ballstonspaeducationfoundation.com  A volunteer organization, supports the mission of the Ballston Spa Central School District by raising and distributing resources for educational enrichment outside the realm of the daily operational needs of the District.
  • Ballston Spa House and Garden Club – Gardencentral.org/fgcny/ballstonspahouseandgardenclub/  The Ballston Spa House and Garden Club was founded in 1955. Jean Puckhaber was one of the founding members and remains an active member. Through the years, the Club has sponsored many projects that have helped to enhance and beautify the Village. The Club has partnered with other community organizations on projects such as: The Bicentennial Garden Party; Garden Tours; The Festival of Trees, to name a few. The Club has interesting and educational projects planned for the coming year.   • Ballston Spa Lions Club – www.ballstonspalionsclub.org  The Ballston Spa Lions Club was granted a charter by Lions Club International in September 1949.The Lions Club has been assisting individual and families in need living in the Ballston Spa, New York area. The club assists individuals and families living in the Towns of Ballston, Malta and Milton as well as non-profit organizations that also help families residing in our community. The primary mission of the Lions Club is vision and hearing disabilities. Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.   • Ballston Spa Public Library – ballston.sals.edu  The Ballston Spa Public Library was chartered in 1893 by the State of New York, to serve the residents of the village of Ballston Spa. It existed in various locations throughout the village, until a permanent home was built for it in 1959. An addition was put on in 1971. The current building is two stories, each of which is accessible by wheel chair separately. Ballston Spa now has approximately 5000 residents, and is the county seat of Saratoga County.
  • Ballston Spa Rotary – www.cliftonpark.org/sparotary  The Ballston Spa Rotary was established in 1922. Rotary is a worldwide organization of over 1.2 million business and professional leaders who provide service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary addresses some of today’s critical issues such as violence, AIDS, hunger, and health care. The Ballston Spa Rotary also helps local organizations including the Ballston Area Community Center, Ballston Spa Junior Baseball, Ballston Area Recreation Commission, National Bottle Museum, and Brookside Museum.   • Brookside Museum, Saratoga County Historical Society – www.brooksidemuseum.org  As the home of the Saratoga County Historical Society, Brookside Museum inspires community memory by telling the story of Saratoga County through interactive and engaging programs and exhibits.
  • FANs of Ballston Spa – www.fansofballstonspa.org  Friends And Neighbors (FANs) of Ballston Spa is a grassroots non-profit organization that has developed a centrally located playground in Ballston Spa that can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities, encourages outdoor recreation, enhances community pride, celebrates our history and creates a legacy for future generations. The playground is also the site for events and activities for families and children.
  • Saratoga Bridges – www.saratogabridges.org Founded in 1953 by parents who desired to have a rightful place in society for their children with developmental and other disabilities, Saratoga Bridges has become “The premier community resource for over 750 people with disabilities and their families.” Our mission is that we are committed to advocacy by providing resources that enable them to live enriching lives in the communities where they are valued for their abilities and contributions. We offer a full range of professional services including: Clinical – Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapies, Nursing, Nutrition, Podiatry, Psychology and Psychiatry Services, Program Coordination and Social Work, Day Habilitation, Supported and Sheltered Employment, Family Support – Early Intervention, Family Care, Family Reimbursement, Guardianship, Recreation, Respite, Residential Habilitation and a Sibling Support Group, Information and Referral, Outreach and Advocacy, Public Education, Seminars and Workshops, Recreation and Social Activities, Residential, Service Coordination and Transportation.
