Thanks again to everyone who was so actively participating with me in the Milton Republican Primary conversations. Compiled below is a recap of news and events leading up to election day, Tuesday, Sept. 12 from most recent to oldest. The General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
There’s a ton of things that catch my eye and ears on a regular basis, this was a particular stand out as the big picture of development in our area continues to evolve.
I’m sure there are many waiting and drooling for my poison pen to come out about the Rossi/Walmart decision. While I will make reference to it, I’d rather let the suspense build.
Watching the process of the proposed Walmart project unfold has been a mixture of fascination, education, shock, disappointment and enlightenment for me. I’ve learned more about the terminology and legalities of what goes into decision making by a town planning board and commercial developers than frankly, I ever thought I’d be interested in knowing.
I’ve dusted off the proverbial pen. Truth is I’ve been fighting the urge to use it quite a bit lately…this topic seemed easy enough to slide into as I sit here wondering “What are they thinking?” about a variety of subjects bubbling all around the towns we try to cover and serve with news and information.
