MILTON – The Milton Town Board voted to purchase an extension of up to $20,000 with Twin Rivers Council (TRC) to amend an agreement and move forward with a permissive referendum vote in a continued effort to purchase the former Camp Boyhaven Boy Scout campground.
MILTON – After questions were raised about taxpayer actual costs, the acceptance of an indirect gift from an anonymous donor and the committment of a New York State agency land purchase, the donor has decided not to donate a promised $500k for the Town to acquire Camp Boyhaven in Middle Grove.
The preliminary 2018 budget for the Town of Milton has been filed at $7.7 million after a vote of 3-2, with councilpersons Benny Zlotnick and Barbara Kerr voting against it.
