MILTON – The Milton Town Board voted to purchase an extension of up to $20,000 with Twin Rivers Council (TRC) to amend an agreement and move forward with a permissive referendum vote in a continued effort to purchase the former Camp Boyhaven Boy Scout campground.
MILTON = The town board voted at its May 1 continuation meeting to accept an extension offered by Twin Rivers Council (TRC) and proceed with intent to purchase Camp Boyhaven in Middle Grove.
Milton Town Supervisor Scott Ostrander has dealt with a contentious political situation, both during the campaign season and in the early months of his term. But that hasn’t stopped him from moving forward with his plans to help stabilize the town’s budget and secure new business opportunities.

The second budget workshop for the Town of Milton included a presentation by Jason Miller, Deputy Highway Superintendent and member of the current budget committee. The workshops are held publicly, however, closed to public participation and for board members to discuss and ask questions.
MILTON – The town board has agreed to submit a letter of intent to purchase Camp Boyhaven from the Twin Rivers Council of the Boy Scouts of America, a 300-acre parcel of trails, forest and two lakes.

MILTON – The Milton Town Board voted unanimously to authorize back payments to town staff members who were underpaid from Jan. 1, 2011 up to now during Wednesday’s regular board meeting.
